Bicycle etiquette: · Bicycles are not allowed off roadways. · The Pa’rus Trail is the only trail in Zion National Park on which bicycles are allowed. · Bicycling is allowed along the Scenic Drive but shuttle buses cannot pass moving bicyclists; pull onto the road-side and STOP or use turnouts to allow them to pass. |

Please note that parking inside Zion National Park is limited and is usually full by 10:00 am. If you are approaching Zion National Park from the South, through the town of Springdale, look for the signs directing you to the parking and shuttle stop areas. The Springdale Shuttle Route Map will also help you find parking and shuttle stops. |

The Zion Canyon Transportation System is comprised of two routes: the Canyon Loop and the Springdale Town Loop. Both routes are free and accessible to all passengers, and all buses are equipped with bicycle racks.
The transfer point between the two system loops is located at the Zion Canyon Giant Screen Theater complex in Springdale. After departing the Springdale shuttle at this stop, simply walk across the footbridge to the park’s pedestrian entrance. After entering the park, proceed to the adjacent Visitor Center to board a Canyon Loop shuttle. |

Maps detailing the shuttle stops inside Zion National Park are included in the Zion Map and Guide packet you will be offered as you enter through any of the entrance stations into the park, this is an extremely useful tool that will help you plan your stay in Zion National Park. It includes trail maps and descriptions along with information about the geology, wildlife, vegetation and climate inside the park as well as information about the benefits of the shuttle system, camping and other important information. |

There are a few simple rules to follow while riding the shuttles: · No food or drinks (except water) are allowed · No pets are allowed · Strollers must be folded before boarding and stowed out of the walkway · Please keep heads, arms and legs inside the shuttle at all times · For your safety, and the safety of your fellow passengers, please keep all of your gear, child carriers, strollers, coolers, bags/backpacks and walking sticks out of the walkway |

Times and intervals change with the seasons. Current schedules are posted at each shuttle stop, the Visitor Center, and in your park guide. Tune your radio to 1610 AM for more information as you approach the Zion Canyon area. |

What to bring for a day in Zion National Park: · Water/Snacks · Walking Shoes/Map · Sunscreen/Hat/Sunglasses · Camera/Binoculars · Dress for the weather and bring everything you need for a day in the park. · Be sure to bring your Interagency Pass or Park Entry Receipt for re-entry into the park. |
